Aerial and ground views of the 2013 Montana Spartan Race. For the aerials we used a Cinestar 8 multiorotor and a FS100. For the ground work we used a GoPro and a Sony FS700.

We used a Cinestar 6 hexakopter and a Sony CX760 to capture low level aerials from above Flathead Lake.

We brought 3 multirotors to the 2013 Whitefish Mountain Resort Dummy Derby. We used a Cinestar 6 hexakopter and a Sony CX760, a MK Okto with a GoPro, and also a DJI Phantom with the GoPro.

A few of our favorite things - mountain sleds and flying cameras. We used a CineStar 6 with the Sony CX760, a GoPro Helmet mount, and a Sony NEX6 with the 18-200 lens for handheld.

A couple flights with the Freefly Micro quadrocopter and the GoPro Hero 3. We shot the GoPro at 1080 60P with ProTune on.

Cedar took a pull on the Freefly Micro with the GoPro Hero3.

We flew a few batteries while getting a few video clips from the Whitefish Mountain Village properties.

A few flights over a pond hockey game in Skyles Lake, Montana. We used a Cinestar 6 multi-rotor with a Sony CX760.

First flight with the Sony RX100 on our Cinestar 6 hexacopter. The Sony was set for 1080 60P with AF and auto for exposure. This test was checking for rolling shutter, more patterns, and other AF weirdness that we sometime see. I had to soften up the vibration isolators for the 0.5 lb camera. No post stabilization was used in my edit.

Quick flight at sunset with our MK Hexa XL and our GoPro hero 3 Black. The GoPro was set to 1080 60P with ProTune on.

A few aerial samples by Royce from the Rail Jam at Whitefish Mountain Resort. Royce used a Mikrokopter Octokopter and a GoPro 2.

This is a quick intro showing our current Red Scarlet setup with the Cinestar 360 gimbal. We are also using the Radian stabilizers and an HD-SD converter with 1.3 downlink.

Our target payload for the Cinestar 8 Heavy Lifter is roughly 8-9 lbs, but for testing we have been using a 12lb weight strapped to the bottom. In this video we do a bit of stick banging around the office. We strapped a GoPro directly to the rear boom so a bit of high speed jello will be visible.

We spend a few days at the Ninko forest service cabin with good friends, sleds and skis. I used the MK Hexacopter XL with the GoPro 3 Black at 1080 60P.

We strapped a MK HexaXL and a Phantom on our sleds and hit the backcountry with a GoPro 3 and GoPro 2.

Night flight with the GH3 at 1/40, f2.8, iso2500 and 1080 30P. We used a Cinestar 6 hexakopter and a 2 axis gimbal with Radian stabilizers.

This was a continuous 11.5 minute flight with the CineStar heavy lifter multi-rotor and the Red Scarlet.
